This creamy, spicy dip couldn't be easier to make! Made with flavorful marinara, tangy whipped feta and drizzled with hot honey for the perfect appetizer. Serve this up at any game day get together for a tasty, memorable dish.
Ingredients
- 8 oz marinara sauce
- 4 oz Athenos Whipped Feta
- 10 slices of pepperoni
- 1 small baguette, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tsp garlic salt
- 8-10 fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Method
- Preheat oven to 400 F. To a small 8-inch cast iron or oven proof casserole dish, add marinara sauce, dollops of whipped feta cheese and pepperoni. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and the pepperoni is crispy and browned.
- While the dip is baking, toast the bread pieces. Place baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush tops lightly with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly with garlic salt. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 400 F or until golden brown.
- Remove dip from the oven and drizzle with hot honey, red pepper flakes, and fresh basil. Serve with toasted baguette slices.
