Italian night just got an upgrade with these flavorful pesto feta bombs. Premade biscuit dough is wrapped around a cube of feta, drenched in flavorful pesto and baked till golden brown and fluffy.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 16 oz biscuit dough
- 4 oz Athenos Feta Cheese Block, cut into cubes
- ½ cup pesto
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease a casserole dish with butter and set aside.
- Split each biscuit into two lengthwise by dividing the layers in half. You should be left with 16-18 dough rounds.
- Cut Athenos Feta block into 16 – 1-inch cubes. Wrap one dough disk around each feta cube and seal edges to create a sphere.
- Coat each dough ball in pesto and place into the casserole dish. Brush any remaining pesto onto the tops of the dough balls.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
