With peak sporting season upon us, we all need some fresh tasty snacks for Game Day! This warmed whipped feta jalapeno dip is a spicy, cheesy appetizer dip that is perfect for serving up with fresh vegetables and pretzels.
Ingredients
- 3 jalapenos, minced (with seeds for extra spice, without seeds for a milder flavor)
- 8 oz Athenos Whipped Feta Cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¾ cup Athenos Traditional Feta Cheese Crumbles
- ½ cup panko bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Crackers, pretzels, and veggies for serving
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- In a medium sized bowl mix together jalapenos, whipped feta cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, mozzarella cheese, and feta cheese crumbles until creamy and combined.
- Spread dip into a small 8×8 baking dish.
- In a small bowl mix together panko bread crumbs, butter, and garlic powder. Top the panko topping on top of the cheese mixture evenly and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly. Serve with your favorite crackers.
